We understand that introducing new fungi species in large quantities, inevitably affects the balance of any ecosystem. Safety precautions are taken in every phase such as discarding waste and purifying ingredients obtaining a fungus and mycotoxins free product.

Respiratory conditions can develop in workers due to constant exposure of microspores released by a mychro-reactor. Therefore, the reactor's internal air flow is adjusted keeping spores in an airtight container easy to store.

Biotechnically qualified personnel who provide expertise on microorganisms manipulation are of utmost importance at Linneo. Proper training and safety guidelines for handling equipment and production processes of bio-pigments will be also facilitated.
